It’s that time of year again to be #grateful. HAHA! I laugh, because shouldn’t we be #grateful all year round? Yes of course, but this time of year reminds us about what we should be doing and challenges us to remember to be #grateful every day. November is the month of THANKSgiving.
@AlloraSG, along with many others, will be practicing gratitude for 30 days. But, we really should be practicing every day. Here are a few tools for your toolbox to help you throughout the year to practice daily.
Journal. Start by writing down what you are #grateful for. It doesn’t need to be complicated. It can be the flowers in your yard. It can be the person that smiled at you in line that day waiting for your coffee. Write it down.
Listen. Yes, you are seeing this word in another one of our blogs because it is so important. Listening shows you care. Take the time to be #grateful for others by listening to what they have to say. Ask questions and engage with others. Put your electronics down and listen to others around you. I promise you will learn something.
Being grateful is good for you and the people around you. It is not only good for your health, it is good for others. Finally, something that is contagious that isn’t bad for you! Let your #gratitude spread!
