A large, Charleston-based non-profit was operating out of 5,000 square foot facility that desperately needed updating. Rather than invest in upgrading the rented space, the organization decided to relocate and reached out to Allora for help.
Having already identified a space to purchase, Allora came on board to assist with the due diligence of closing on the property, managing scheduling, inspections, and creating a timeline for moving – a process that took approximately four months in its entirety.
We developed a timeline that included weekly projects and goals to help us stay on track for moving day.
We worked with the building contractor to ensure the upfitting was on time and up to our standards and scheduled meetings with vendors for building maintenance, pest control, landscaping, and cleaning services.
We coordinated security needs, such as key fobs and security cameras, and managed the transfer and installation of telephone, Internet, and utilities.
We spent the last leg of the relocation securing the moving company, coordinating which items would be moving to the new space, purchasing new furnishings, and designing a functional layout.
Relocating your company or non-profit is a full-time job. It’s a responsibility that can be outsourced to a professional so that you can stay focused on running your business.
